Okay, the Dalmatians want us to tell ya all what happened at church today. The first thing we want to stress is that this is a place where we got lots of Papa bears. When we first started to attend this church we were in the process of loosing our home and job because we could no longer handle the stress of bigotry. At this time we were staying at Hope cottage. Since we were under soo much stress we were doing the swinging door syndrome. Ya’ll know the times that no matter how you try no one want to stay out so they vacate as soon as possible. At night it was even harder cause the Dalmatians where going trough recall and re living their abuse. Which was intensified by the abuse that these women treated us for being different? (Hope cottage is good for the majority of homeless women but it has no compassion for those going through circumstance that is not a typical.) WE all have to agree DID/MPD is not normal nor is there a wiliness to understand the disorder by the general public. But we did find comfort in the pastor and some church members.
…..This was the place that the Dalmatians learned that church could be safe. Even when we just curled up in a chair none of the men here tried to touch us in a mean way. Yes some of them spoke to us in the wrong way but they never went beyond that. Like others at our jobs or at the rec center. But here if we started to be afraid of some one the pastor was always there to make them leave us alone till we known for sure they no hurt us like the others. THis is the one place that we known that we not be r*ped or hurt just so someone could get bragging rights. One of the papa bears asked if he could help us get work and we told him no thank you. He asked why we told him we had enough we tried for three years to get someone to hear us but they only want to hear about how others can get us in panic attacks and get laid for free. WE no accept that no more. He said we never had to. That is when we told him that when the work crew at safe way put us under the truck with a mock attack they put us back into the space form when we were hurt badly by a group of men. Even if it was not logical we no fight causes we no want to be hurt like that again no more. Now that we are starting to regain our center we are not going to put ourselves in a situation that will allow others to hurt us no more. We can not control what people say about us but we no longer have to make ourselves available for those types of people. Now this be the first time we say that and not be afraid we be hurt. We said before then the dark ones hurt us and we got scared again then we just be quite and let it happen cause they say we be hurt like before.. But not this time we said it like we meant it and we know we safe cause we willing to let everything go. We no longer have to let others hurt us even if we have leave with only a small amount of belongings we do that because no one going to hurt us and make us stay here no more. We even told him the reason we come to this church even with the split welcoming we all know we no get hurt here we be safe because the majority of the men here are of the light.
…..The Dalmatians were so proud of the fact that we as a whole were able to tell these people what we wanted to without the fear of being hurt form someone cause we say we no be hurt no more we leave and not come back. We no longer let others hurt us cause they no want to hear us or the truth no more. We be getting stronger and healing cause those of you here and the papa bears of our lives that are letting us learn to heal and we be safe.

Yep, Strength in Numbers and strength in similar things and experiences...Strength from God/Great Spirit and the good papa and maybe even moma bears.
