This is hard to explain. We (all 5 of us) use to telephone mummy all the time. So one night it would be me and anther night it could be Allison. Mummy was getting tired and we all knew that something had to be done. So we came up with the idea of a sticker book. How it works is that we write down in our book each day whether we have called mummy or not and at the end of the week we bring the book to mummies and she gives us shiny stickers for the days that we manage not to call. We have some rules
1) If there is a big problem we can phone any time
2) Each week we agree on a day and a time that week where we can call mummy (whether we have a problem or not)
3)If mummy gets busy at that time she will text to say when else it would suit to call.

Anyway last week mummy forgot to tell us when to call so we sent a text message and asked if we could call on wednesday night (tonight)

But mummy called us on our mobile last night to say that she had just realised that we had not set a day and she asked us if we wanted to talk then. Well, we couldnt as we were all out with Audrey and her friends were there. So we suggested Wednesday adn Mummy said she was out for Dinner and would be back late. We dont know if that means we should call later?
We dont know if we lost our stickers for yesterday becasue Mummy phoned us?

We had to cut the conversation short with mummy last night as other people were about and nothing got sorted.

Mummy said her mobile was out of charge and she would find the charger and send a text to us to sort it out as she realised we could not talk. But its lunchtime and mummy has still not texted?

We sent a text message this morning asking mummy if we could phone later tonight and she has not answered?

We dont know what to do?

We have not phoned on Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon,Tue and now its wednesday and we got to speak to her but dont know if she will be in later, if she got her charger for her mobile?

Mummy will be at her work at the moment and we dont have her works number as she works in lots of different Doctors practices.

Im all mixed up and JUST WANT MY MUMMY

Of course we care!

I just think most of us are unfamiliar with calling our T's mommy and calling so often. I'm not saying it's a bad thing because it seems to be okay with your T.

It's just that many of us don't have this type of relationship, so we don't know how to offer advice or how to help.

I think you explained it very well. I'm sorry I didn't reply sooner but I have only just come on to PC for the first time now.
I think you have tried to fix a time and I don't think you will have lost your stickers for yesterday. Mummy phoned you to arrange a time.
You could try later on Wednesday if Mummy hasn't texted by then. I think she is probably very busy at work and has not got her charger. But I am sure she will send you a text when she can - she obviously cares about you a lot.
I can see that this is upsetting to you but I think Mummy should be very pleased with how well you are coping.
Remember, if you have a big problem you can call mummy.

Now, Iris, of course we care! I am very proud of how strong you guys have been not to call your mummy so far this week, how brave you are! I agree with Caroline that perhaps your mummy is just really really busy right now and she will text you as soon as she can. In the meantime you can talk to us here and we'll all hide under petunia's umbrella and you and Vicki can paint and color pretty pictures for the rest of us to ohh and ahhh over. and of course we'll eat popcorn. Don't worry Iris, your mummy said that she would text/call you and she will...just give her a bit more time and i'm sure she'll text. ((((iris))) and you know that you and the girls can always PM me to talk. you all take care and let us know what happens, ok?

I phoned my mummy last night and she wasnt in so I phoned her mobile but it was switched off. And I got stuck in phoning, phoning, phoning. At 11pm my mummy must have got home cause she called me and left a message on my mobile saying it was awful late and perhaps we could talk the next day (today) instead. So now we have all lost our stickers for yesterday cos we phoned and we wont get any stickers tonight cos we will phone and itsjust not been a good week coss I phoned and phoned and phoned mummy last night. Im feeling like a bad girl. I dont know if I should phone tonight or try and get stickers insetead. But I want my mummy.

The message mummy left on my phone said it had just been a mix up and that she not annoid at all my phoning. Message said it was because we had forgot to arrange about the phone call. I dont want mummy not to like me.

Lucy used to be a bit like that sometimes when she was scared and feeling empty and alone but she isn't any more. You aren't a bad girl and I am sure your mummy does like you. You will be able to sort things out with her and we are here to help too.

Im not sure if anyone wants to know, but I called my mummy last night adn she said I wont loose stickers for Tuesday cos she phoned us instead of us phoning her. So Im pleased about that. Mummy said last night that it had all been caused by a mixup and that in future we would all have to make sure that a proper day is arranged eack week when we can phone.

Ive been all crying and everything about this and Im sorry if it not make any sense to anyone. Its just that we all need a mummy and need to know when we can phone or we all start to get upset and think that mummy wants us to go away. Then we end up in a mess again.
