many times when we first start sharing time together within our emotions are off center. that is when journalling help us out alot. so we can work out the overload. sending safe hugs and wanted to let u know u not alone. ![]() Quote:

adnerson - love your advice.
Have you been diagnosed with DID? Just in case...so you do not develop way too scary ideas...In my opinion though..."they" are simply a repressed part of who we are. if you have "alters" try to be their friends. listen to what they tell you .pay attention. sense...do not judge too much. If you think its not real just let it go. |

it could be many different things. could be a wide range of medical problem affecting your emotions, (such as anemia, bacterial infections, viruses... and other medical problems that affect moods) could be any number of psychological problems (such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, anxiety disorders and others that also affect moods)that cause emotions to bloom out of control, could be that you are becoming co conscious with your alters, if so this is a good thing. the mental health community here believe becoming co conscious is a part of the integration process. it could also be that you are now in touch with your feelings, no longer shutting them down, stuffing them blocking your feelings out. my suggestion since we cant tell you what this is and there such a wide variety of negatives and positives of what it could be, is that you contact treatment people (medical doctors, psychiatrists, therapists) in your area, tell them whats going on and they can tell you what this problem is by the process of elimination, and actual diagnostic tests. ![]() |

i'm not very good with anger, so i don't have much advice. sometimes emotions are hard, and we don't always know where they are coming from, but it is good to remember that they are not bad. try to find a way to let the feeling just come and go, or process it somehow by writing or talking or some other way if you want to explore where it is coming from. good luck.
