hi everybody-im deb,
i think i have a personality disorder. i actually was told i have borderline personality disorder. well anyways, i think i have split personality, i dont know alot on it but, all i can tell you is that with me im always all over the place (my moods). i'm always either happy, sad, angry, upset, hyper, confused, all at the same time. and i act different around certain people and i dont even realize it sometimes. i dont know, my mom tells me ALL the time i act like a different person, i dont know. i kinda agree i guess too. i'm on Depakote, Prozac, Abilify. Would any of those meds help me at all with a disorder like a split personality?? i need lots of help, i have other issues too that ill post later. well, all the help i can get would be great, thanks for everybodys time!!  deb

hi dpadilla and welcome!
i think all of the symptoms you describe could fit with the dx of BPD. with BPD, there are identity issues as well, i've read. i'm glad that you're seeing someone and getting treatment! are you seeing just a psychiatrist for meds, or also you also seeing a therapist for talk therapy? the combination using works very well in helping a person discover more about themselves and their actions/reactions. anyhow, i'm glad you're here. welcome, again kd

hello deb,
pleased to meet you. Im not on any meds so I cant offer you any advice on the medication you take. I know there is a forum "drug questions" and Im sure they will be able to answer all you ask. Im sorry to hear that you are feeling all over the place with moods and feeling like you act like a different person. That can be scary. Anyway, Im glad you found your way here and I hope we can be of some help to you. Keep in touch all the girls
