a self to another self when they are older parts is a delightful thing. (well, not exactly the reason it needs to take place but that is for another discussion).

Gratitude for the togetherness and thinking how optimistic and hopeful she is about the future. Thanking her for her nature and looking forward to more good times together in the future.
Thanks for this!

All my parts already knew each other was there and what each were like, knew they liked each other or not and knew what each others purposes were. the only person that wasn't aware of them (the alters) was me (the host).

As I developed limited co consciousness with a limited few of the alters, I too was amazed by them and their abilities, commonalities, thoughtfulness and caring for each other. I was also amazed at all they did for me when I couldn't handle things.

I am so glad your parts are now becoming aware of each other. it truly is a great thing.

Thanks for this!

aquainting...verb (used with object) 1. to make more or less familiar, aware, or conversant (usually followed by with): to acquaint the mayor with our plan. 2. to furnish with knowledge; inform (usually followed by with): to acquaint the manager with one's findings. 3. to bring into social contact; introduce (usually followed by with): She acquainted ...

We had to look it up to make sure we understood it. This word applyes to us in so many ways for inner communications and truth. We hope that some day we can aquaint the rest of us to each other too!
safe hugs and thought to all within you from all of us

She is so hopeful inside and rises strong till her stoppage. Although we met a long time again there was not time to address her stoppage so we apologized to each other and said a few more things and we will call on the great 'library' of information. She looks at our older skin and hands and we will try to break it to her gently about the age of the body. She was curious about the age of son.

Yes, it is possibly I am host and will find the commonalities as she continues to tell me of the things that caused stoppage. She has much to see.

Acquainting, a verb...I like that!

Thank you again all

Thanks to the brain for shutting down when the pain got too much to bear and allowed the ongoing parts to surface. Re-aquainting the brain with the body feelings around the time her stoppage is proving to be a slow, steady, and somewhat difficult piece of work but it is being accomplished and in due time the fragments are being fit together. We are better but not yet all-together.

Learning about the different types of love is helping considerably. Like this intuitive love (storge) of her without knowing the facts of her stoppage was good but now we can help her be fully in this internal family and be accepted with all the love she deserves. She saw some great books for her age in the two bookstores yesterday. Reading has been difficult for some but there remains hope.
Thanks for this!
