We woke up this morning with the smell of flowers coming through the window. We just laid there enjoying the smell and the peace it brought us. So we wanted to ask what brings you peace in those rare moments that you can just relaxe and enjoy?

For me it is when it rains. I remember growing up that even when things were bad in my life and home, I was able to go outside when it rains and play in the rain and it for me was safe. So when it rains still to this day I love to sit outside and watch it or if it's raining too hard I sit at the window watching it. I feel safe!

Walking in the sunshine along the sidewalk or in safe parks with other people. Looking at the flowers and greenery in abundance. Taking photos of nature or just enjoying being it.

We used to do walk regularly with our dog of 19 years. His feathery tail waggling. Lol, if we ever were worried about him being too far away I'd just look for that tail along the side of the flower bed or in the grasses. He didn't have long legs and was not easily spotted in those areas but sure enough there'd the tail be.

He passed away about 5 years ago but I hope someday to have a dog again. I didn't feel quite so alone either and I think he liked being with me too.

as a child my duvet was old and thin, i do not ever remember having new bedding as a child, so snuggling down into bed with fresh washed covers and soft pillows always feels safe to me . mmmm. good night!

The light, how the day lasts longer and the sky is bluer. I don't feel forced into a dark cell for a long 15 hours of the 24.
