I just wanted to ask permission to be here.

My husband has DID and I am just trying to get some help in helping him the best way possible. I know sometimes people don't like outsiders being here, so I wanted to ask if it was okay if I posted her too.

He has been officially diagnosed for 5 years now.

My name is Sara.

Thanks
Thanks for this!

I welcome you here!!! you should be allowed anywhere. the point of this place is simply to support each other, bounce idea's off, give opinions but keep respect. It shouldn't matter if you are DID or have a DD or anything, simply the fact that you are respectful

Hey Sossie, so good to see you hear, LOL!

Some people think I am really clueless when, in fact, I am so much smarter than everyone else.

DS has a DID forum you know.

Sorry to the people who will not understand my reply, but I just had to say it.

Hey Sara,

Welcome to the DD Forums. I think it's just fine that you're here. I think most of us welcome family/friends of folks with DID, especially if they are here for support, encouragement, and learning.

I was diagnosed with DID in early 2009 and it's been one roller-coaster ride since. I can only imagine what it's like for family members who live with DID but are singleton. It's got to be difficult at times.

Welcome to the forum, and feel free to ask questions, read, learn, and ask for support whenever you need it.

Hope to see you around the forums!!

Try this link. It helped my husband understand more about me.
