Oh, sanity, by Yoko Ono.

It's only sane, to be insane,

A psychotic builds a castle,

a neurotic lives in it,

I don't know what to do with my sanity

when the world's at the verge of calamity.

Oh sanity, oh sanity,

What am I to do with you,

Drink up, shoot up, anything you please,

But she's always standing 'hind me

like a devil in Hell,

Sanity, sanity,

Why don't you let me go, let go, let go,

Cut it out!!!!!!

(Sanity by Yoko Ono)

The Nest has decided that the post at the beginning of this thread needs some elucidation.

Firstly, the post was written by a part we call The Singer, we don't let her post usually because she only talks in song lyrics.

Secondly, the goodbye did not refer to psych central, or the members here, but rather to a loss we are experiencing irl.

We think the song lyrics are self-explanatory.

Thanks to everyone who posted, PMed, & emailed.

you know..

sometimes when I am having a hard time explaining how I feel, I will use a song instead.

I think the music can capture the true feeling behind what you are talking about.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
