What do you do?
It's 2:45 a.m. This is actually early for us, if we manage to get into bed any time soon. -sighs- Lissabeth is our angel-in-training and is very good about getting us calmed down when we feel like there are bad/evil things around. She scolds them on their lack of manners. ![]() ![]() But our littles are all terrified of sleeping when it's dark. Dark is when "bad comes." Even though we don't live with our parents anymore. We live with our aunt, actually, but she's apologetic/enabling of our parents, and emotionally abusive herself. Not exactly helpful. Although we lock the door all the time, and no one can get in here, we still don't feel safe enough to sleep at night without freaking out. How do you feel safe? How do you make your littles feel safe when they are in flashback mode or convinced that we're still there, and we're still 8 years old? ![]() Anyone else have problems with calming everyone else down?
