If that's what you meant, well, I lost mine in April, on April 10. On October 10, was our Dad's 86th birthday. He has dementia now and since MOM died, he has gotten much worse. He was married to her 63 years, and knew her more years before that. I have not had any feelings of her being near me, or anything like that. Like I did with an aunt I was really close to. I think, if this is what is going on, that it is OK that it is hard, really really really really hard. And your grief will happen like it's supposed to, how ever that is. So I don't know how your parts work, but some of them may be really angry, & that's ok. And some are soooo sooo sooooo sad. Gee we're talking about abandonment in another thread here. And thank you for bringing this up because I'm able to let some sad tears out right now. And though it seems all wrong, it IS all wrong, that she left me here alone, there is nothing that can change it. And Angry can come out too and cry. But it's still not ok ... If I'm right and you lost your birth mom, know you are not alone here ![]() ![]() |

I am sorry for your loss
I agree with Hunny and Kasva..... a therapist is needed and maybe giving us some more info to work on as were all healing and in the pile just as you are... were all trying to figure this all out together but a therapist is very important.....! ![]()
