Does anyone ever let one or more of their alters talk in here?

Would that be all right if someone did?

Hugs from:

Like pegs said, all are welcome here

Just as an fyi though, they still must follow the guidelines of posting. You may want to let them know that okay? Thanks!

Looking forward to their posts....take good care!

Thanks Puzzle,

I think that is a good point, i.e. that alters are not always that easy to distinguish. It is an important thing to know. I have looked at videos of DID people on YouTube and some of those people have very dramatically distinct alters, but I have a feeling that isn't always the case. Actually, if you are going to try to protect the "system" it would make sense to try hide the "obviousness" of it to the outside.

*hugs*

Sometimes.
Sometimes I see a thread, here or elsewhere, and I read it. Then I feel like I have something to add and go down the responces reading as i go,(In case whatever I'm thinking of has already been written)
And i find I've already been and posted. But I have no memory of it.
A couple of my others will sign there name, but others don't. I don't know why.
But I do let them through if they are really insistent. I'm not co-con with all though.

I don't let the ones that curse a lot talk here. LOL. They have a blog... but otherwise yea I do the same thing as Jax. I'm like "woah, wow I guess I did make that post!"

Before I really got to "know" DID I was always concerned different alters had different user names. Heck technically the name on the Birth certificate is Chelsea, but I refer to myself as Lydia here, I can't decide if it's an alias, or an alter. But people would post something that was going through my head just hours before and I would be like "woah.... woah.... did I post that?"

Technically I still don't know the answer to that.

Have you ever had the experience where you type (or text) something and it is like your fingers have a mind of your own? Like you type something and then you go back to read it and then you say "OH ****" I never meant to say that? Or you read something and then you go back to find it and it isn't even there? And you would swear you saw and read the words on that page.
Thanks for this!
