Annoying . . .did this ever happen to you?

A dear family member got married two days ago. Even though I got lots of notifications I forgot about it. Yesterday I even saw a Facebook photo of them cutting the wedding cake. But it was only today I remembered that I wanted to send her a card and a gift. Never too late . . . right? In fact when I first got the notice of her wedding I went out and bought a card along with a birthday card stash.

Now, of course, I can't find them and I can't go get another card today. I looked everywhere! The only thing I found was last years birthday card stash.

I'm going to have to make a really big sign so I don't forget about the wedding card. Oh and hey, I also keep remembering its my birthday next week. I have to keep checking on the calendar to see which day its going to be!

Forgetting is horrible. It happens to me so often. I wish you luck on it all. I don't usually like to make appointments for fear of forgetting them...

Good luck, and (early) happy birthday!

okay here is what I do; one thing I do is I put what I don't want to forget on the floor in front of the door so I have to literally step on the items...purse coat ,lunch for work....Then again with the notes...I write it on a piece of paper and use real tape and tape the message written on the note pad to the door knob....then I stick the note on me( like when you were a kid and the teacher sent home a note, she pinned it to your shirt....okay then I stick it on the steering wheel of my car....hay, ya gotta do what you gotta do,I even tape notes to my alarm clock..uuuugggg the things we have to do when we are dissociative....I don't know about you but I am 45 years old and cant tell time...I have a part for that
