Well today got a phone call from our case worker. I think after my fit that I threw yesterday she finally realizes how much we need help or maybe it was she was wanting to get us off her back.

Anyway she wanted us to go to a women's SA group today and we went. Also said that they finally was going to do my pschy eval that they messed up the beginning of the month and did it today. Was half good and half not so good, but guess it was ok. Already on Klonopin for anxiety, but now have added Geodon for sleep and Lexapro for GAD = generalized anxiety disorder. Have to get them filled tomorrow. Not to comfy with the Geodon cause of all I heard about it, but will give it a shot and see how it goes. At least if I got batty I'll know what medication it is. I didn't really like the Women's SA group. It was so different than the DID group I go to. Actually the DID group seems more functional than the Women's SA group. SA = s*xual ab*s* in case someone was confused. Didn't want to trigger with those words so just did SA since it was easier and safer. We will give it another shot with the group next week and see how it goes, but not to comfy with it because it is so far off the other group. Seems to me more damaging than helpful the way that it is run. But that is just my opinion. I really hate agencies and the way that they are run here. I think we have the worst mental health field in the whole USA. They graded themselves a B+ but then when they got graded nationally they were a D-. Just doesn't add up. Which is truly sad. Still no word about a roommate. Figured just going to stay here and have landlord take us to court. Not our fault that the roommate left and we have tried all we could do. We will pay our half of the rent, but that is all we can do. We don't have any papers saying that the roommate is entitled to break the lease and not be responsible for her share of the rent and with us being on disability it is difficult to just up and move when we can't move our stuff, don't have transportation for it nor can we physically do it, plus don't have deposit money, etc. So will just have to play it by ear. Wrote T a long email about today and then an alter of mine wrote her even a longer one about other stuff. Boy is our therapist collecting a book on this time away. LOL

I'm hoping that your landlord rented to BOTH of you and it's on the lease. If so, I hope that it will be that you can remain with no consequence until another roommate is found. I wish you so well there. Please keep us updated.

Good luck with your new group. You are brave.

Many wishes to you...

Can't give hugs but can give ya a Wave and a Happy Dance for ya.

About today About today

Sounds like a busy day. My thing about groups is, give them a month or so and see how it pans out. Sometimes being in a group with others who aren't DID is hard. I tried it once and didn't get much out of it. Wasn't able to get comfortable because I was scared to switch in front of the other group members. So if it doesn't work out then you know you gave it enough time.

I've been on the Lexapro for about 6 months now for depression/ anxiety. It's worked great for me. I haven't had any side effects from it and I'm a lot calmer. Don't get the shakes like I used to from the anxiety. Good Luck with it, I hope you have the same success with it as I did.

I am so proud of you for trying the new group. You are very brave. I hope it works out for you, but if it doesn't you will have the satisfaction of knowing you tried.

Thank you for being so careful with the words. It was so nice of you.

I, too, hope the roomate's name is on the lease. If it is, you are not responsible for her half of the rent. She is.

Hugs,

Jan

Still no roommate. Am paying my part of the rent tomorrow and then see where it goes from there. The landlord based his letting us move in here and having the lease on her income, so I don't know what is going to happen from it. I don't have any letter written that she is no longer on the lease. I am not looking forward for him taking me to court, but that is all I can do at this point. Have T next week, the new support group, as well as the DID support group. Well hopefully the DID support group. Trying not to stress over the roommate thing, but it is so difficult. Tomorrow I am going to look into and find out how much it cost to put an ad in the local newspaper. By the time I pay my part of the rent, a few other bills, plus trying to place more ad's; things are going to be very tight. I hope that I get a roommate and that they can help by paying their part of the bills when they get here. About today
