My little one (who calls herself "Little One") has an obsession with candy. We find it in our purse and dresser drawers. I already have a weight problem and high blood sugar from Abilify. Any suggestions for dealing with this or getting her to fixate on something healthier?

sorry, we know surger free tast no good to us. can you get dehydrated fruits. it is more natural or keep apple bites. hust thinking of all the things that they tell you to give you kids instead of candies. oh ya we did hunny chex mix. it is sweet but does not have the extream amount of surger that the others have.

hopes this helps. take care of those within.

Raisins are a good thing to keep, especially the tiny boxes that hold just eight raisins.
The original gummy bears might work too. They are not too sweet. Maybe chewing gum...the sugarless chewing gum on the market is rather sweet. Be careful of the sugar free foods. Too often artificial sweeteners have been added which the can cause digestive problems.

One other thought...you might try getting that little one interested in marbles and or stickers. They can be her extra special thing.

Great ideas, everybody. I'll try 'em all. Especially the frozen fruit smoothies--we all like the sound of that!

The fruit smoothies tastes good and for me cold things seem to help little ones get grounded....although you will probably have to wash your little one's hands and face!!!! Are you joining us tonight with Crew ; he has a live chat at 8pm for us with d.i.d....I will be there!
