Does it ever feel like parts of you got stuck mentally at some point?

Is that whats really going on with alters?

Sometimes it feels like they just got stuck along the way somehow.

You can find my answers to this in my blog.
But basically what it feels like is just like a normal memory of for example the memory of walking in the rain is that -the feel of the rain, the wet clothes, I happen to like waling in the rain so experiencing the memory piece of the emotion of walking in the rain would be happy for me.

Oh yah! Sometimes I even have trouble figuring out why I'm in a house with children (teens now) and everything seems so strange to me. That usually happens after a dissociative episode - I'm confused about reality for an hour or so.

My alters are stuck in different times and have their own realities. Most are not aware of the other. I'm more like a medium at times and sometimes, like last night, I won't remember a thing.
