I'm bipolar 1, but lately I've had lapses of memory of what I've done, especially seeing things I"ve written and having no frame of reference at all. Some suggested DID. I don't know. Can lots of stress do this?

memory lapses can happen for lots of medical and mental health reasons including stress, lack of sleep, not eating the way you should, and every mental disorder has its problems with memory lapses including Bipolar, DID and all the others too.

my suggestion if it worries you then thats the time to consider contacting your treatment providers, they can tell you if what you are experiencing is because of stress or any other number of mental and physical problems that share this same symptom.
