Dissaccociative Disorders

Can a qualified expert give me the definition for a person with Dissaccociative Disorders. I have been diagnosed with it, among other things, but not sure what it means.

here in The United States of America we spell this german word "dissaccociative" as "dissociative"

here in america the term dissociative disorder is a name of a whole group of mental disorders that share the same symptom of dissociation.

inside this group are many mental disorders

examples DID, Depersonalization, and derelaization are just three of the many mental disorders in this label of dissociative disorders..

each one of these mental disorders have their own definitions..

my suggestion contact the one that gave you the diagnosis. ask them which one of the dissociative disorders you have.

also many different locations define mental disorders differently so to find out what the definition of the dissociative disorder you have you may need to ask the person that diagnosed you..

here in the Continental United States of America we define each of the disociative disorders according to a book called the DSM that our American Psychiatric Association prints up explaining all the mental disorders the United States of America treats.
