Well, I though since a topic came into my head that I would TRY and get over my trust stuff by putting something out there into the wide yonder of PC.
I was talking with someone I worked with today and it turned out that she knew one of my abusers. She spoke of how this woman (YES, wmn abusing wmn does happen  ) was known for her agression and bashing her partners up in the street etc....and how she had almost had a go at my work colleage...............................well, I felt weird, I just couldn't believe that someone knew 'HER'........it floored me and unsettled me, BUT, what she said also validated the fear and revoltion that I carry around as a result of the experience I went through.I have experienced alot of abuse situations in my life, but of all of them, this one stays with me the most. It is incredibly difficult to put out there and although therapists in the past have allowed me to 'name it', it has been obvious that they have been uncomfortable with it. GOOD NEWS: I put it out there last week with my new T first meeting and she ACKNOWLEDGED IT...........maybe I can do some work now  ...though there are tears behind that grin. Storm

I can't talk much at all, feeling very untrusting but I know what you mean about being abused by women

Yes abuse can be from either men or womyn....I hope that you can work through this very difficult issue.... I am here for you if you need me..... I am sorry for what has happened to you......Please take care....my dear sister......

Scarey and validating to meet a sister victim of the same perp. Abuse doesn't have a sex. Very glad yer new t is cool. Glad yer reaching out here at PC. Lotsa understanding folks here.
