Ok I'll save you the whole story....fast forward to C-PTSD w/DID female from severe childhood sexual trauma and neglect/abuse and now they say I'm bipolar too.

Could that mean I have bipolar alts?

All I can tell you is my experience. I have bipolar disorder and yes I have had alters that were bipolar also.

my suggestion if this continues to bother you contact your treatment providers they can help you discover whether any of your alters have bipolar disorder too.

Have you asked your therapist if this is possible? It's a good question.

I have alters who have their own disorders. Two have autism, for instance. One has a severe stutter. One has anorexia....etc. i suppose its totally possible to have alts with bipolar too.
