Hang in there ((((((((Woundedhearts)))))))) there are still many of us here publically.

the support is here still, just like before people remembered and or learned that Psych Central is an open to the public community, people are giving support by way of on the boards and or by pm depending on what each person is comfortable doing and giving.

Psych Central is the same as it always has been - everyone posting and pming as they feel comfortable.

In my experience here at psych central the quietness and busyness comes in cycles but has always been here. So I personally don't see this quiteness as chaos.

The only difference that I can see is that people are starting to take responsibility for their own on line experiences, behaviors and triggers and so on. This is not a bad or chaotic thing. Its actually a good thing.

But I do know that good things and what is happening right now can be a bit un nerving for those just becoming more aware of their surroundings.

hang in there and you will soon see everything here is pretty much the same as it has always been.

Please do not assume you know why people have decided to be done posting here.

I am not assuming. Like I said FROM WHAT I CAN SEE ...I have asked and recieved this as a reason from three people so far. sorry to have offended you since this is not YOUR reason for not being public right now.

Hang in there Just wondering

Hi. I am here, but I'm not posting much. I don't want anything personal about me to end up in someones blog, and not posting anything personal is aparently the only way to achieve that. I also just don't feel this place is safe anymore.

I am available by PM if anyone wants. Just wondering Just wondering

Like I said -

The only difference that I can see is that people are starting to take responsibility for their own on line experiences, behaviors and triggers and so on. This is not a bad or chaotic thing. Its actually a good thing.

This includes whether or not people choose to put things on the public boards because the boards are public and accessable for ANYONE - PC member or not - to take and use to help themselves anywhere on the world wide web including blogs here or blogs elsewhere or other personal websites when people who visit or are here find things that help them in other peoples posts.

I for one am happy that people are now starting to recognize the fact that they must monitor their own on line experiences (whether or not they post and what they post)and their own personal triggers because I am no longer being blamed for and I no longer have to take credit for other peoples , in general whether or not they are here or on other websites, lack of taking care of their own on line experiences and triggering reactions.

journalist must ask ppl for permission to use complete or parts of any quotes used by another , when this is not respected, the jounalist is in error.
Have you received release forms for what is used?

this thread isn't about journalism. And whether or not I or anyone else that chooses to make replys here on the community boards and or with in their blogs and then place links here on the community boards to those replys have permission to talk about that subject with in their blog or quote a sentence or entire post.

its about people who have decided to not post publically.

I validated them by saying I am glad that people are now accepting responsibility for their own on line experiences and behaviors (example whether or not to post on public boads).

That is not a direct quote of any post here in this thead except mine.

So your question is off topic and in - MY OPINION an attempt to make this thread into a personal attack against me and my making my replys be it here or in my blog. That issue has already been addressed many many times in the past 3 weeks.

IN MY OPINION I see no reason why this thread must be taken off topic to where members start attacking other members so my post stands -

I am glad for those that have chosen to start taking responcibility for their own on line experiences and behaviors (including whether or not they post publically) and their own triggers. Way to go everyone Just wondering

Myself, please stop celebrating. You're missing the point entirely. Please PM me if you want to discuss further.

Can we please create a new thread for the Shout Outs to get it back on track?

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
