I am so glad to see that there are so many people here that are taking responsibility for their own on line experiences behaviors and triggers. in the past three weeks I have watched as many people take the time to decide based on their own triggers and what is best for them be it what they read, whether or not they use the ignore icon and whether or not they use the favorites feature so that they don't have to see entire forums that trigger them, and whether or not they choose to post publically.
Way to go everyone on keeping yourselves and other members safe on line. For myself this behavior doesn't only include my taking responsibilty for my well being on line. in my personal life I am also taking the steps needed that will take care of any mental or physical health problems such as scheduling appointments with my treatment team, getting enough rest and trying to eat right. So whether you are accepting responsibility for your own well being be it online or off and since this is a support group I say lets celebrate - Way to go to Myself and others.. |

wanted to add -
Not directed at anyone in particular - Alot of times I have found that I slip into only paying attention to when I am feeling bad and not pay attention to my accomplishments. I used to hate it when someone could acknowlege that I was doing something good for myself so I know that my past few weeks of my acknowleging and supporting others as they are taking the steps they are in accepting responsibility for their own online experiences, behaviours and triggers may seem abusive to some. But the bottom line is that this is a support group. we are supposed to be supporting not only when someone has a problem but also when they are doing good or doing good things to take care of their own well being be it physical, mental, on line or in their real lives. From time to time I am told to stop offering my support and acknowlegement of someone doing good for themselves for example taking resonsibility for their own on line experiences, behaviors and triggers. So DISCLAIMER AND TRIGGER NOTICE: FOR THOSE THAT PERCIEVE ACKNOWLEDGING AND SUPPORTING AND CELEBRATING ACCOMPLISHEMNTS AS ABUSIVE - I am in no way forcing you to read or accept my support and acknowlegement of your accomplishments. any time I post congrats and so on it is for those that want need and like having their accomplishments celebrated and acknowledged. If my posts on support and accknowledgement is not for you then take what you want from my posts and threads if anything fits and move on to other things that will help you. |

Hello I appreciate the way in which you acknowledge the fact that people who are helping themselves need to be commended. Often times everyone gets bogged down, in their own life, and forget about others. I hope the best for you, I think it is nice that you think of others. Take care Soidhonia
