Heard his voice once in 15 years...once when little man was two days old and he'd walked into the same house...and don't remember getting to safety at that point but did.
He called me not 20 minutes ago. It's mother, or so I thought; it was her number. Shock. I knew the voice immediately. I don't know what he said? Daughter said that I tried to hand the phone to her then to her daddy, then just hung it up and ran. I have a new number. He was at the mother's house. Why did she allow him to call me??? I'm caring for the little man. Why did she give him my number??? Dang. KD

People like that do these things to get the reaction you have. They are cruel, imo. Do let it go as much as possible. Some one needs to straighten this out with "mother" also, but that can wait. Comfort yourself, you are safe.

(((((((((((((( everyone ))))))))))))))) Thank you again so much for caring and understanding, then for relating that understanding. It helps me, us all, more than we know. I was able to overcome it more quickly than I would've dreamed, though at first it got very mixed up and awful really quick.  I'll never understand them, and can only work on me and accepting that. I have to remember that my husband would never allow him near me...ever. If he was to ever come here...whew. Courage can certainly come in numbers, and y'all ganging up "with me" in my fear and upset gave me the courage to look at "today" and stay here more quickly than I've ever been able to before. It's almost amazing that this happened to us both...I mean, after so long. It's another one of those "why's" that I'll probably never have the answer to...actually a few of them. I don't understand, but I don't understand the mother's actions in this... When she doesn't like me, she really doesn't like me. KD
