I know like I know I have 2 legs that there are 3 of me. The 2 others are 15 and 16. This does not go along with the generally accepted idea that DID is a product of early childhood abuse. I have been diagnosed with DDNOS.
I was severely abused/brain washed when we were 15/16. I also lived with domestic violence (Dad towards Mum) my whole life and was unable to establish a secure attachment with a caregiver. Anyone else just have teenage young ones? Thanks guys. |

I wish I had had only two teenagers because teenagers though rebellious can be reasoned with, where as my younger alters, well its hard to get a alter who is in their terrible twos to stop throwing a temper tantrum but a teenager can understand right from wrong, rules of behavior, ....my treatment provider tells me my teenage alters were so easy to work with and they were the first to be integrated because they did not hold the more extreme trauma filled memories. the younger the alters were in my system the more traumatic events. |
