Hi.

I have [Complex] PTSD, depression, and a tendency to dissociate. I suffered early childhood ( premature birth) trauma and isolation, emotional abuse and long term bullying.

Hence there is more than one me.

I relate to much of what you say... especially your "history" introduces self/ves

And, I love your quote!

thanks. introduces self/ves

...I'd forgotten I had that quote...I always like good quotes...

hmm... the other me's are kind of fluid at the moment... basically there's adult me, an angry protector 5 year old wild child type...a lovable little rogue...she used to verge on being autistic... then there's a deeply depressed teenager, and an adapted sweet and nicey nicey little girl who wants to be a princess and be loved for ever after...but she also wanted to make things better between mummy and daddy and couldn't...and so feels helpless...then there's a very early fragmented self from the traumas around my birth...

then there's sorrel, the original child me, the one who felt all the pain. She is named after a dream I had some years ago, where I put sorrel ointment on an injured baby deer's foot.
