I had to take an antidepressant in order to slow down the compulsive thinking. I also take an anti anxiety medication. That's it. Neither are a strong dosage. By the time I went for help I was having massive panic attacks two or three times a week. I would have to leave my job get in my car and drive to an isolated place until I could regain control. I almost gave up. The medication gave me time to breath. And once my compulsive thoughts slowed I was able to start sorting through my life. I don't have to take it forever but for now it helps me.

RainbowDay...
for some people yes medication is the only answer for others no, everyone is different and respond differently to treatment options. my suggestion contact a treatment provider in your off the computer location, they will be able to assess which type of treatment is best for you so that you dont have to keep feeling this way. |
