For example I took a 40mg adderall (I don't have add/ADHD) and I didn't feel the effects of it. I'll drink one fourth of a 1.75 and won't feel drunk (I hardly drink). And when I smoke pot I don't feel high I just feel my psychotic symptoms heavily! What's this called? I have psychosis/depersonalization. Is there a med that helps with this?

normally (without drugs and alcohol influencing a body) the inability to feel or express emotions is called lack of affect. it happens with all kinds of mental disorders and physical health problems too.

in general using drugs and alcohol to the point where it no longer affects a persons feelings emotions is called an addiction problem because a person in general has used it so often that their body has developed a Torrance for the drugs/alcohol

I cant tell you what this is directly related to you and your problems because this site does not allow us to diagnose each other. for what this is called with in you and related to your own physical/mental health or life choices you will need to contact a treatment provider ie medical doctor or psychiatrist or therapist in your off the computer location.

It's definitely not from me overusing drugs/alcohol and I talked to my psychiatrist about it today actually and he present over me saphris. He said it would take away the negative symptoms of psychosis and it would sorta help the positive symptoms of it too
Thanks for this!
