Hello everyone!

Just so you know I'm having a major surgery performed tomorrow. The doctor says I should be in the hospital for about a week. Then after that I'll have a 6-8 week recovery time. Depending on how I'm feeling at the hospital, I may or may not be posting. If I feel up to it I may even catch up with my reading while I'm there. Right now I'm reading a great book called SWITCHING TIME; A DOCTOR'S HARROWING STORY OF TREATING A WOMAN WITH 17 PERSONALITIES. The book is outstanding! The last book I read was an autobiography of a woman with DID called I AM WE. It was very enlightening to hear someone's viewpoint of DID rather merely what the DSM-5 or online searches state. Now it's interesting to get the viewpoint of a doctor who is treating a woman with the disorder.

Well anyway, back to my surgery. If anyone one here cares can you please say a little prayer for me that everything will turn out alright? If you don't pray, good vibes or thoughts about my surgey/recovery will be greatly appreciated.

I sincerely thank you all for your support!

Hoping it is not too late to wish you well with the surgery. Sleeping through it all will be the best part. Can you take something in with you that will remind you of a peaceful place/time? Don't forget to breath.

Thank you all! My surgery isn't for another six hours... Which is unfortunate, because I'm fasting
