Sometimes I have difficulty in walking as an other tries to take over midstep, and then as we fight for control, it looks like we froze and are trying to thaw out in a contortionist kind of way! Lol

This looks pretty funky in the wide open, walking across a parking lot. It's just so amazing how the inner struggle can manifest it's self in the physical world.

Of course, I'll shudder and jump back and have some really obvious reactions while ambush switching takes place.

When trying to maintain a public image, it's kinda like not cool.

You too?

ummm... sometimes - like we argue about where we're going and how to get there, so I might change directions several times. Or when driving, sometimes others take over. That can be frustrating and a little alarming! If one comes in who is more aggressive than I am... or one decides to change directions after I'm already committed on a path/lane. Or someone steps in who goes into auto pilot - then there's a lot of bickering inside.

My walking can be put on slow mo and I just can't make myself go any faster. More common is the side to side movement of my head when I am outside.

Indeed I was driving for work a big box truck on a two lane state hwy. I said to the guy next to me, well I hope we don't die, he said what? By the way he knows I'm DID anyway I said you know this hwy is dangerous alot of head on collisions. He said oh ok your right. So as we were driving a song came on the radio (gold dust women) and holy crap Lacey split in immediately the hair on my arms and legs were like standing straight up was so powerful. The guy said you splitting right, I said oh just a little, he was shocked how my body reacts to certain situations. Lacey ended up driving the rest of the day.. Was so weird..
He said well at least you didn't split into Baby Blue.. We both laugh.

Lol, that is funny. It's great that your partner accepts you for who you are and doesn't judge you. It's so bold of you to share like that, I can only wish.
