i was wondering how many of you here find yourselves not being the main host in the system?
by main host, i mean, the person who actually owns the body i'm finding more and more that i'm not the main host, and i seem to be less and less a part of the system/ life, which has led to a lot of doubting- about who actually hosts, and who the original actually is. don't ask. it's complicated anyone else |

Our original or birth personality is buried deep. No one here so far responds to the body's name. I guess that's what happens when one starts getting licks at 2-3 years of age and beat up for the next 18.
We function as a system always changing to handle the moments need. Our days are divided up, the workers work and the homebodies like me do the home life. Of course others do the driving, shopping, public relations, etc. And by that definition, there is no main here. |

For me (IB) doesn't d much of anything. I normally split just to live and survive
I can tell you it really sucks, not being able to just be yourself. I'm not sure being yourself is even in my brain. I don't know who I am most of the time... |

for me, it has actually been opposite. i only started realizing who i was in the last few years. sometimes, i get so blended with others that i don't know who i am, but for the most part, i am who 'owns' the body or who is here the most now. it used to be just a whole bunch of whatevers for years. it definitely can be confusing.
