These 3-5 am powwows are getting crazier!
It's like all of yesterday's problems are figured out in these wee hours. We keep running into problems at work on how to do something...that's when we figure it out, process and method. While that is happening someone is jamming Bruto Mars night after night over and over. Then there is me BEGGING for peace and quiet to go to sleep. Then there is the relationship thing and then the kid thing and then the neighbor thing and then the life thing and then the DID thing... Ugh!!! I used to think this was part of rapid thoughts, but it happens at the same time! For some reason, we do our best thinking at waaay early in the morning when the booze wears off. I can have a few major crisis and roadblocks at work or life, go to bed, then have it all figured out by the time I wake up. I thought it was a gift, well it is, not like how I thought it was. Anyone experience this type of mental agility that gets to be sleep robbing and more out of control then is? I can't figure out if it's a good thing or a bad thing. |

I too have experienced this I believe. When I stay up later or get less sleep, my cognition seems to be better. Do you know if it's a result of your bipolar disorder or dissocation? I always thought it to be part of my dissociative disorder for me but I was never 100% sure about it. I'm still trying to find out what this is. Glad I found someone else who experiences it, or something similar at least.

That is a great time for thinking, etc. A lot of folks are up at that hour problem solving.

Focus in on your co-workers face, their voice, and the content of what you two are talking about. Inside at this point of concentration should be in the background enough to get the job done. If not, then you need to be in a therapist office twice per week, so that inside can calm down. Sleep aides are recommended preferably not over the counter medicating, but then again I know how important sleep is. Exercise is helpful, eating correctly...Then sometimes none of these things work you just gotta whether the storms! I know I been there done that and can write all about it.
