I feel obliged to answer this one.

But I don't know why.

Um. I've been single --- I don't even know. 13 years I think - something like that. Apparently its a maladaptive trait. I think its common sense. You definitely can't take anything I say on this subject matter as sane! But I will say one thing -

The only thing I miss, of all relationships (because I really am the complete social outcast, so I am including best friends, family, boyfriends / girlfriends, the lot - in this)... The only thing I miss out of all that, is a hug when I get home after a bad day. I miss that so much. I would happily swap a day in the life of, with a coupleton - just so one more time, I could have a hug after a horrible day at work.

i've always been single.

it used to bother me because so many people had someone in their lives (and especially on days like valentines where it's meant to be a romantic day)

but now i'm not bothered- i've learnt that i have far too many problems to maintain anything like that
