Do you all find yourselves very sensitive to comments, looks, innuendos, misunderstandings, perceptions, and everything else external made internal?

I'm sooo guilty that it's so devastating to some. Its like we can be hurt, then careless, then like pissed, then laughing....its so exhausting.

no. for me it was just a part of life where people look and stare and such, after I was diagnosed i did begin to worry about this then my treatment provider gave me an assignment...to go some where public and notice whats going on around me. its just normal for people to look\stare at others, throw innuendos, have misunderstandings and all. After I did that and realized she was right. people look and stare and all that, its part of being human, what really matters is that I can control who I look at\stare at and all that and make a choice whether to do it or not. in some situations i admit I have done those thing. my wife put on a very flattering dress last night and yea I looked and stared. lol

as for how did my alters react to staring and such well again its completely normal thing to happen so just like any other child or adult they passed it off. line in the sand is my native american culture we dont focus on being upset by that kind of thing. the first time a child comes home with so and so stared at me or so and so said something i didnt like the result was usually thats life. no one is going to get along with everyone, all we can do is control ourselves.
