That is a feeling I know quite well. I'm there.. but I'm not. Listening, hearing but not really there.
It feels like a safety thing. If there are too many people there, too loud, too close into my personal space, I kind of go away. Can't handle it. I have a radar that scopes it out. The radar drains me. So wish it wasn't there and I could be ok in social situations. I used to, until I (we) had an auspicious internal 'event'. After which we realised we would always 'have each other's backs'.
Now I know that we can take care of each other in any situation and are completely whole and entire unto ourselves. I (we) enjoy the company of others at times, of course, but we are never and will never be alone. |
