I usually pop on here a few times a day. sometimes its because I am having a very dissociative day and focusing on something like reading the posts here reminds me that I am not the only one. one of the things that helps ground me is reading so I read. Sometimes reading and replying here breaks up my long night shifts when on nights job wise...sometimes I run across posts that get me thinking.

last night I discovered through reading and experimenting a great psych central...tool... that can help point me to threads I find interesting and want to visit again.. its called subscribing.

at the top of threads there is an option called ....thread tools.

click on thread tools
click on subscribe

this will mark threads you find interesting with a green check mark.

to make the check mark go away, just go into that marked thread. click thread tools at the top of the thread and click unsubscribe.

now when I come on feeling a bit spaced out, foggy in the mind but looking for a certain thread I want to keep track of all I need to do is look for the green check mark. what a great ideal color coding threads I can see me using this a lot

by the way when you subscribe\mark a post with a green check only you see the green check. in order for others to see a green check they have to choose which threads to subscribe to.

you can also find a list of all your subscribed threads in your profile under subscribed threads.

Thanks Amanda, I'm glad that reading helps for you. It also sounds like you have it going on.

Thanks for the turn on on the subscribe tool. It would make it easier then going through forums and back pages in search of something you've seen once.

I'm not sure, but I think that you can get emailed replies with that...or maybe it was somewhere else. Any hoo....

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
