Hi all
haven't been on here in a while. things are ok.
wondering...have any of you been tapped into the mandela effect, the phenomenon where a group of people remembers something differently than it apparently is?
I have wondered if some of our DID stuff is really this thing. Like when you swear you put something somewhere and it isn't there. Maybe it isn't parts or alters. Maybe it is alternate timelines or real alternate selves. Not DID parts, but you in different realities.
I know this is out there. I don't want to upset anyone. Just asking the question.

each of my alters remembered things a bit differently...but not like you are asking about..

for example rainy remembered the fear of rain storms, where as thelma memories of storms are of a sexual nature the sexual abuse that happened during a storm., where as I the body born didnt remember anything at all.

I never perceived my alters to be different me's from different time frames/ realities. with in my they were all perceived as a separate from me distinct identity.

anytime I went through what you are asking about perceiving parts of me as being me but from different realities, my treatment provider called psychosis, adjustment of my medications solved the problem.

my suggestion is talk with your treatment providers. they will explain to you what the difference is between having alters and feeling like you are you but in different realities,the difference between alters and feeling like you have other you's from other realities.

the weird part, i dont think the philadelphia experiment was a hoax

but then again im a conspiracy theorist...

i've also thought about alternate realities... time lines.. and stuff...
