To the best of my knowledge, only one of us has ever planned to integrate into the whole and then went ahead and did that. We have had a few (two, I think) integrate into the whole but they were not planned, it just kinda happened. We have also had several mesh ups... where two individuals merge together to become one new individual... a two-fer, if you will. I happen to be a two-fer, myself. With me, I knew before hand that I would become one, in a way it was planned. I just was not aware of when it would happen.. it just kinda happened. But I felt it coming up on me (both of the me's who make up me felt it... and that sounds confusing, oy.) Anyway, same as with the integration thing I was talking about before, the mesh ups are not always planned, they just happen sometimes to some of us.

I know integration and/or mesh ups are not everyone's thing. But for those of you who have had things like that happen, do you feel it coming up on you? Do you plan it and it happens or does it just happen or both? Do you have prior knowledge of who this will happen to/with or are you kinda left wondering until it happens? Really, any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Whenever there is a collision between two or more of my selves, I feel uneasy because Im not familiar with the new person.

Then I try to make a synthesis of the two. An image, idea, story, symbolism that appears as a result of the merging of the two.

Something like reading a tarot and finding a story between two cards.

Hope I make sense to you.

As a writer, this makes the most sense to me! Thanks for a new way of thinking about integration.

my answer... no when I integrated I did not plan it nor did I feel anything. it was just the normal process of one moment not being able to remember something and the next having full knowledge of that memory, for years not having the ability to express an emotion and then one moment thought where I thought hey I can feel that emotion.

in other words it was just like being a normal whole person able to remember and do things and remember doing those things, able to express my emotions.
