It's crazy how naïve I use to be when I was young. Even when I was being abused and going through foster homes. Even when most of the adults in my life I couldn't trust and the ones I did just left. I still thought most people were good and the majority of people would help one another at all costs. Maybe it was because of the teachers and counselors at school that made me believe this. I'm older now and realize this world is so cold and it's pretty lonely out here. Not many people care and there is no one that will save you. This world has definitely hardened my heart. I'm no longer naive.
