"so pick something, and learn how to do it. nothing is stopping you but yourself" I said huh? they said think about it, is there any law or rule saying you can not pick something and then learn about it? that day I picked up a pad of paper and wrote out a list of things I wanted to learn how to do, some were absolutely outrageous and some were just funny little things where every time I thought or said "wish I could do that" and others were actual things I wanted to learn... learn a second language, ride a unicycle, do a back bend, do a cartwheel, be a therapist, be a doctor, be a medical lab technician, read xrays, learn to swim the butterfly, touch the tip of my nose with my tongue, be a contortionist, play the flute, guitar, piano, drums tuba and Xylophone ... well you get the picture. i had a whole notebook designated for things I wanted to learn / or be talented in. I still have it and still add to it and I still go through it and pick out something to learn how to do. my therapist said to me....if you really want to learn something it takes work but it can be done. you are never too old or too young to learn something new......she was right.....last week a relative introduced me to an 80 year old woman who has skiing and bungee jumping on her bucket list and is taking skiing lessons and bungee jumping lessons. why just because she wants to learn those things. I say if you want to learn something new go for it. right now I am learning the art of origami, and anthropology / archaeology why because I want to learn how to make beautiful paper objects and go on an archaeology dig some day. |

financially depending upon what the interest is... I have found a way around this... we live in the computer age now. many towns and cities have free internet classes, they are found on college websites, pbs, opb, and other public community agencies like library's. colleges at least once a year provide community interest courses where the cost little to none. (these fun classes are meant to drum up interest in attending their college) My wife and I keep our eye on the area colleges for those promotional courses. colleges have subscriptions, scholarships and audit classes where a student ends up attending a local college for free, many colleges are now going tuition free (with stipulations you have to meet) the other down fall i have found with learning new things is sometimes people think you are a know it all because you become a well educated person on many different topics. one of my neighbors told me no matter what the problem she has she knows she can count on me to know what to do because in her words "you know it all and if you dont know it you learn about it so that you know the answer, a walking encyclopedia you are" and I laugh and say you know what is life but a whole bunch of learning experiences. I like to know things, i like to learn new things, I like helping people. I like helping myself. when I dont know something I learn about it. it makes life interesting. edit to add another educational thought/ resource.... i have cable in my city home. on my cable I have a selection called pay per view and free. in both selections there are categories for things like educational, documentary, ....some of those are free and pay per view classes, netflix, roku, cleartv, chromecast, and other streaming devices also has educational / things to learn, DIY (do it yourself) Last edited by amandalouise; May 07, 2017 at 01:55 PM. Reason: added another educational resource for self learning |

I'd be blessed for those benefits. Maybe, if someone, the one represented can lend a hand so that, if that is what is needed can associate better for those great gifts to shine. Finding what it is good at locating the page of the history from the other day, sharing a few words to contribute to the history assignment.
I think that is about evolving them it might not happen right away that is why co consciousness happens also not just for other obvious reasons. You can't always put them in a meditative state or put them to sleep. |

Sometimes I feel that way too.
N, an uni classmate is really smart, has high GPA, and now she working at really prestigious company. Back then, another classmate jokingly degrade her, saying she was born lucky, smart, and stuff like that. She answered with tones, it's not as easy at it seems. To achieve that, she studied harder than anyone else, sometimes discussing with the lecturers about the courses. Nobody can be talented in one day. Blessed with really high IQ only made your talent boost faster, but you still need to work on it. And you must have any talent, you just haven't figure it out. |
