I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but one of my alters - Lizzie is very little, and uses childish speech. But when she comes up during times of distress, she is very well-spoken, and almost like the voice of a much older person. I'm having to think of her as Lizzie One (child) and Lizzie Two (child with adult sensibilities). They're definitely the same alter, (unless you can have identical twin alters). It's just thrown me. Lizzie Two speaks clearer than Outside Me - and I've done public speaking and audio recordings professionally before.

I know that when I was Lizzie's age, I had to do 'adult' things to survive the abuse, but this feels like something else. I'm a bit unnerved by it (British translation - quite scared)

it could either be two different ones. or maybe how she is does change. or it also could be another one who speaks for her.

There are a couple of us (two, I think) who are age sliders, sometimes young, other times older. One of them is sometimes very 'small', as she says it, and when she is small, she does come across as a younger child. During her 'big' times, she would appear to be an adult, even though she says she only gets as old as maybe a tween. Still... she does act/speak/whatever like a grown person when she is 'big' her. Perhaps this is what Lizzie has going on? I dunno. Just figured I'd toss this out there.

But yeah, it could be anything really... just I read this and my knee jerk reaction was slider. Curious as well, does she know what the deal is with all that? Whatever this may or may not be, I do wish you well in figuring it all out.
