I came across autogenics being mentioned in an article I was reading about trauma.
I have never heard of it, so I Googled it. Here's the link: Autogenics -- A self-help training schedule Has anyone trained themselves in this? Reading through it, it seems pretty time intensive and a lot to remember. Maybe after you practice it, it becomes less complicated? I was interested in it to use as a grounding tool. I'm ever in search of something that will work every time. Does that even exist?

It reminds me of something that's a lot easier to practice: yoga nidra, which is a guided process for relaxation. I went to a studio that promoted it for PTSD. I think you might find it to be a better fit for your sensitive heart. It's a very gentle, peaceful practice. If you have a yoga studio nearby, you might check to see if they have any yoga nidra classes.

Thank you!! That sounds very inviting. The studio I just found offers relaxing and restoring yoga classes. They would probably be that type of yoga. I hope your hand is doing better!!
