So today I just opened up to my therapist that I suffer with D.I.D (Dissociative identity disorder) I was pretty nervous but surprisingly she is actually very helpful with me on it.
I suffer with what I call The Five.Five different personalities and it does take its a lot out of me.I feel absolutely crazy some days. I still wonder if I am crazy,The only people who know is my fiance and my therapist and of course now all you lovely people. Is there anyone out there like me? Is there anyone who understands DID?

I can't claim to fully understand DID, but I do have it. I have been in treatment for it for about 6 years, and I definitely understand a lot more about it now than I used to!

I think you should take your time....Seek safety find a goal and understand what the journey entails. Reading a lot of knowledge is what I would recommend it might be a while before it can be applied with alters helping without always having to run to a therapist for in between session help...
