we heard the first lot of fireworks over the weekend.

early this year.. they don't usually start until november 5th

well we have headphones this year, hopefully they will help us

still a big trigger though

we hate fireworks (as some of you know from last year)

I was never in combat so fireworks are not a trigger for me. But, I understand completely!

Not sure how long they last, but I hope they are over now or at least will be soon. Also hoping the headphones work out for you. I generally hide in headphones and music around July 4th here due to that... the loud just sets me off a bit... always has.
