Regardless of all the blah blah blah in our system, for some reason, we have direction. A living life direction.
The body has to eat, sleep, and feel secure. So...as a unit...we fix everything. We got a job that is fix everything. Regardless of our ways, thoughts, opinions, and wants: needs say go fix things for a paycheck. That’s what we do....regardless of the immediate ever present cray cray. Suit up and show up. Eat. We as a system understand this fundamental demand of survival regardless of mental capacity....life. Thank God we can manage to survive off the skills of our inner learned ones... It’s good camaflage. Just saying. ![]() |

How funny....I was just thinking after read a PODS blog online that thank God that we are able to function as a single unit for the most part, all working towards a day by day survival tact in a linear progression of one mindedness toward goals and wants, not dependent on social services or family and friends but through self-reliance of our system’s ability to co-operate for a common cause: survival.
Then I thought to post it, then I opened to this post that’s in my browser. Lol We try structuring our days into a bedrock of basic routines that the alters whose job it is to perform that action does so in a timely fashion. This lends to no surprises or take overs. Often times, more then one alters does these routines, but we try to stick to the same timely schedule. Like Monday through Saturday: 6 a.m.: get up, make coffee, read Facebook and listen to weather report. 6:45- shower and shave, put on work uniform. 6:55- pet dog Cleo 7:00- feed Cleo and make days standard same daily lunch (salad) sandwiches now due to dental works 7:15- walk Cleo 7:20- make bed and put up Cleo. 7:25- leave apartment to go to work 7:30 latest. 7:35- get breakfast at drive through 7:45- eat and arrive to work. 7:47- make job coffee and clock in 8:05- begin during job duties. 4:30- leave work to beer store or grocery store 5:30- get home walk Cleo 5:45- Feed Cleo. Sit and sip beer reading FB and listen to news Drinking beer daily keeps us mentally numb and sedated so that we don’t go get ourselves in trouble from boredom. Then we watch our standard shows till we go to bed at 9-10ish pending on what’s happening. On Sunday it’s a free for all, sleep in, rest, relax, shopping, get ready for Monday. Sunday has must does, but no set routine. We work Saturday just to stay in routine, because if we took Saturday off...our system would be out of sorts and confused by the time Sunday starts. 2 days off is like the beginning of trouble. It’s amazing what it does for our paycheck as a side bonus. People at work don’t get why we work Saturdays because it isn’t for the money....just for the stability...there is no explaining that to them for obvious reasons that we are enlightened to. For dinner we stick a frozen piece of pork or meat in a pot, boil it for an hour, add oriental soup paste, frozen vegetables, spices, and noodles....everyday so as to simplify dietary eating. Same with lunch and breakfast. Limited surprises, choices, anything to keep triggers from happening. So glad we have a job uniform to wear everyday except Sunday because we always don’t have anything to wear. We’re always dressed in blue pants and a maroon shirt. Making decisions and choices slows us down because everyone has a preference that can take us on an unexpected journey that we can’t afford or do. Doing all this routinely keeps it all tidy and flowing, a job routine that anyone of us can do. Less anxiety and stress in knowing what is to happen next. We hate surprises....we aren’t capable of handling them...so much confusion...it causes dissociation. What are other ways do you make your days? Any ideas?
