I say it all the fricken time. Impulse? Slip of the tongue? Out of character?

Why does it always feel like a dream just transpired?

It’s because some of my other parts have their own opinion, mind, tongue, beliefs, and ways that can override mine making my life unpleasant, humiliating and sometimes hellish if not embarrassing...that’s why.

Such is my life...nothing ever changes.

Like yesterday we were talking to our boss and he said something about doing something at exactly 9 o’clock and 5 o’clock on Sunday- our only day off. Mind you, we already know not to kid around with Mr Serious, but Jokester couldn’t resist saying “so we clock in at nine and out at 5”...a 9-5 thing (yeah stupid)...that didn’t go over well...

”What??? We ain’t paying you 8 hours for 30 minutes work....!”

“Uh...Gary... I know I know I know....”. FML...lol

I think I know how you feel. I've heard lies come out of my mouth when I (the core?) am scrupulously honest.
I used to sing in a church and suddenly lose the melody (I sang lead).
Other times I would sing the harmony part instead of the melody and I can't even sing harmony. well, obviously, one of us does!
This is all so new to me. My parts have been hiding for so many years, except for Baby and Toddler.
In some ways it's scary and in others it is so cool. I have--am--a team. I am not alone.
