I feel like I repeat themes and thoughts previously expressed after the fact....de ja vue like...

Like now...I think??

Do you ever feel like you are repeating yourself?

It’s so embarrassing once it sinks in....but isn’t it the nature of this condition for the past to disappear so that everything feels like the first time? Obviously for me. My dog loves me.

I used to have deja vus all the freakin time, especially in stressful situations. After i started taking topamax, which is for epilepsy, among other things, the deja vus stopped. FWIW.
Thanks for this!

Yes, we repeat a lot without knowing it. It shows up in our recordings of our therapy sessions... over the weeks and months we say some of the same things as though is it the first time we've realized or said it.

Yeah. For me it’s a wonder in my mind if I’ve dreamed it.

Thank you all...I thought it was just me going insane....my mind as broken.

I find that I automatically repeat myself often when talking to people in the same moments as if the first time went unheard or something.

Oh well, I know this isn’t going to stop, just very frustrating.

I forgot to say, my stressful situations esp being sunday dinner with the family. Everything would get very buzzy, both visually and aurally. Like sparkly.
