I just got an official diagnosis (I kind of put it off for a while but that's another story). Anyway, I'm going to have a meeting with my mom (who knows nothing about it) and my therapist, to you know...talk about it and stuff. And yeah not knowing how it will go makes me really nervous. I mean I doubt it will go horribly, but still. I would have avoided it forever except...I feel like being able to explain that some of my actions aren't actually mine would clear up a lot of confusing and simplify things a lot. In the very lest it should clear up why I'm not always wearing socks. I'm hoping my mom can shed some light on my mysterious childhood. I don't remember squat from before I was 12. But as I said it still makes me very nervous because in the very least it will probably be very awkward.

Good luck...hoping that it goes well. I asked my mother what happened when I was a child, she didn’t know.

OK now I'm getting really nervous. Meetings in 5 days and my mom said she was anxious about it herself.
