This is Tyler. I'm a part of this system as it were. I've been gone for six years and have missed out of so much. I had a life that is gone. I used to be the host and now it's gone and I'm simply a piece. This is how I'm feeling, objectively I know it's not quite like that.

Thought I'd introduce myself since I plan on being around a bit now.

I was having a problem yesterday in welcoming you. not saying you are not welcome all are welcome here. this problem is my own problem where when I see someone new come here I feel two different ways at the same time...

Im happy to see new people on this board

Im sad to see new people on this board because it means they have been hurt in the worst ways possible in order to be DID. this disorder isnt something that happens when life is perfect, everything is on track, meds are working no dissociation. its a disorder that requires a person to be triggered, then have dissociation symptoms.

So on the one hand I want to say hey welcome back.

but on the other side Im a bit worried about what may have happened to make Só leigheas dissociate (feel numb, spaced out, disconnected, far away,..... ) so that you can be here right now.

I was wondering if you can tell us if Só leigheas is ok and what happened?

She's okay. Hurting, but okay (or so we like to say). Unfortunately things have gotten to be a bit much, and so here I am. I think she'll be okay.

Hi Tyler and welcome. Some in us are a bit like you, we have come back after some time away. The one who used to be the host hasn't been around for a long time now. Any one is welcome to post. We have several different ones that post on here, we just don't name ourselves. Some other systems who post on here like to say who they are, we don't. I am one of the younger ones who writes sometimes. Do whatever makes you comfortable!

I hope that everything is okay on your end, everything is here I suppose. Thank you for your introduction and hope to hear more about your experiences.

We ourselves share this account and are always switching, so more than one of us posts at any given time. Most of us really are nameless, but answers to the body’s name as hollow as it feels...but a few has adopted names.

We function more as a group does each jumping in moment to moment....so please don’t be surprised if it seems like we contradict ourselves which we often do here, there, and anywhere!
