Dissociation, I had no idea the wonderful work you did for me, and now that your not around much, I want you the **** back! you are my best friend !! I want to go back to when you and I had not clue as to what was going on in life. I miss you dissociation. Please find your way back to me...I am here waiting... |

Hey just2b, I felt the same as you feel now about two and a half months ago. Emotions that I didn't feel for I don't know how long came back, and I felt that I would give anything just to go back to being dissociated. The first month was difficult, but the second one was almost unbearable. I can absolutely identify with what you are saying. It was a torture. I haven't even been aware there is such an array of emotions to feel, I think that for most of my life I have been illiterate about what do I feel. After two and a half months it is comparatively better, even though I still wish for dissociation to come back sometimes. Hang on in there. Best, A.

Dissociation, just make me numb, but functional for my 6th grader. He needs mom at times not the many younger ones you feel like at times. 90 days or more with no T, i feel as if you want to bring on Depersonalization at times, but if needed just do on the weekends when the 6th grader is with his dad. then you can do whatever you want. numb. and drink. D & D get me throught the next 90 days or so......

Dissociation and Numbness, thank you !! You have done so much for me. The moment that I am able to feel, is the moment that I realise that I miss you.

Dissociation has invited disconnection to stay a while, its a good thing as therapy is all most over...and never ever will i have to put up with the emotional roller coaster my T makes me feel. She is stronger than me, as i wish i could hold her belief that one day i will feel like i am my age and not a child.

Been a good week so far, ... as far as I recall lol. Knock on wood! Just trying to get used to switching headaches, especially in the mornings since a lot of them like to switch then. I learned they're called TITH, Transitional Interpersonality Thunderclap Headaches. Mine are always in the forehead frontal lobe, which is where these DID switching headaches are, but also feel it on top of my head (only in front though) a bit, but maybe that's only from spreading from forehead.

@just2b Thanks I'm okay today. An angel part in the system took over and pretty much saved me. Made an emergency appointment with psychiatrist. Now I'm on meds again and feeling much better.
