I've already posted this in the psychotherapy section and I'm sorry if you've already read it, but anyone here have experience with ego state therapy?

I believe my T wants to go into it with me, since she is schooled in it and told me she want to look for a part of me that "helps" or a "helper figure".

Dear AliceKate,

I never had Ego State Therapy. A long time ago I read some books on the subject but now I can't even remember what I read. I sure hope this type of therapy proves helpful to you!

Sincerely yours, Yao Wen
