TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️
I have DID among other issues. I was a victim of abuse starting when I was very young. When I was a consenting adult I began a relationship with a man who had participated in the abuse but later helped protect me from the other men. We denied for along time we had feelings for each other but it was inevitable we began an affair. Am I crazy? Does it make me sick to have gotten involved with a man that was extremely remorseful for what he did to me? Am I crazy for wondering if he’s okay? I have somehow internalized him and he speaks with our T. I am one of many. Thanks for listening.

Hi Frankiii & welcome to MSF.

I hope you find the support you are looking for here. DID can be a very difficult issue to deal with. Are you or have you been in therapy at all? Do you have support from folks in your life?

I wish you well Frankiii & look forward to seeing you on the forums.
